The harbor has clean water

Copenhagen has been nominated the greenest city in EU several times and the water is so clean that you can swim in it. A way to keep our city and its population healthy, is by giving them green areas, good bike lanes (so they don’t use a car) and bridges, that connects Copenhagens three islands Zealand, Amager and Christians Harbor. All three islands we will visit on our tour.

Bridges and bikeroutes in the harbor

The first bridge (Dissing & Weitling) is from 2014 and called the Bike Snake which is a word game became snake is the same word we use for a bikes inner tube. After that bridges followed one by one and now there are more than ten in different sizes and shapes. All are very beautiful constructed.

A habor tour with focus on architecture.

I think it’s important when we talk about buildings, also to mention the people who lives in them; therefore on the chosen highlights and stops, I will show you different kind of housing, institutions, work, eat and amusement places. Some are brand new, some have been there for a while and others are old rebuild buildings.
